The Proposal

Jesse and I became engaged over Labor Day Weekend 2008. We rented a cabin in Sunriver, Oregon, along with our dear friends Sean and Tracy. It was the perfect summer trip, filled with bicycling, hiking through caves, a concert in the park, hot-tubbing, games, a stray cat, tons of food, and black jack!

On one of our last days there Jesse planned a short canoe trip down the Deschutes River. About halfway down he stopped and handed me my ring! It was a very touching moment. We had been dating for two years, and had already shared so many amazing memories, all I could think about was what a wonderful way to end that chapter in our life and begin this new one.
